IoT Projects

As the Technology Director of the IoT Lab at UQAM University, I lead Internet of Things (IoT) projects across a variety of sectors. These projects span multiple phases, including:

•  Problem definition and RFP (Request for Proposal) development, 

• Root-cause analysis and workflow optimization, 

• Solution design, 

• Prototyping and testing, 

• as well as support during system integration.

 At the ESG (School of Management) of UQAM, our facilities include two distinct laboratories located on separate floors:

The Technical Lab
This lab serves as our testing site and is equipped with a range of technologies, including:

• Passive RFID (1D, 2D, and 3D) 

• Active RFID

• Bluetooth

• Wi-Fi

• Li-Fi

• RTLS (Real-Time Locating Systems)
  
  

The Demonstration Lab (in collaboration with the GreenUX Lab)
Designed as a simulated retail environment, this lab functions as a showroom where we demonstrate how various technologies operate in practice. It offers a hands-on experience in which real-world problems are addressed using tailored IoT solutions.
